What We Liked: In this lovely week of submissions, this photo stood out to us for its strong composition and layered portrayal of the theme. The stained glass window, which fills the room with an abundance of warm light, immediately draws our attention. Its extravagance is balanced by its more mundane, but casually beautiful, counterpart below (the window with blinds). We enjoy how the light travels through the space, dancing across the twirling ribbon on the bannister and casting an ethereal glow on the small tree. The lines of house and decorations create for a visually stimulating image while the light offers a sense of direction for the eye to follow.
