What We Liked: More often than not, a party photo implies the use of flash. We liked how this picture captures friends both feeling the moment and feeling the moment of the photo. The flash feels kind of “exposing”; the two girls are caught red handed with not one, not two, but three open containers. There’s a feeling of shared joy and conformability with each other despite the flash being starkly uncomfortable. It captures youth. It captures questionable choices (that’s a very large bottle!). It captures the spirit of a party.
