Finished a roll of film after PhotoLounge closes? No problem.

Our 24/7 outdoor film processing drop box in Center City Philadelphia makes it easy to get your film to our lab whenever it works for you — before work, after dinner, late at night, or anytime in between.

You’ll find the drop box outside PhotoLounge at 130 S. 17th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103 , just off Rittenhouse Square.

Film Developing Without the Store-Hours Rush

PhotoLounge is open Monday through Saturday from 12-5 PM, but your schedule doesn’t always line up with ours.

That’s why we offer a 24/7 film drop box outside our photo lab. Instead of waiting until the store is open, you can leave your film securely for our lab team to collect and process.

What Film Can You Drop Off?

Our Philadelphia Film Lab processes:

Everything is processed and scanned in-house at PhotoLounge — your film isn’t shipped to another lab for developing.

How to Use the PhotoLounge Film Drop Box

Using PhotoLounge’s 24/7 film drop box is simple:

1. Place Your Film Processing Order

Scan the QR code at the drop box to place your film processing order online.

2. Fill Out Your Film Envelope

Grab one of the provided envelopes and pencils outside the box and write your name and order number on the envelope.

3. Add Your Film

Place your film inside the envelope and seal it securely.

4. Drop It Off

Open the film drop box and place your envelope inside.

Once your film is dropped off, our team collects it and brings it into the lab for processing.

How Long Does Film Developing Take?

We know waiting for your scans is half the fun, but we try not to make you wait too long.

Most C-41 color film is ready the next business day once it enters processing. Black-and-white film generally takes a little longer and can be completed in as fast as three days.

How you receive your photos: Your scans are delivered digitally through a Dropbox link sent to your email. Depending on the options you select when ordering, you can also add prints and choose how you'd like your negatives returned.

Other Ways to Get Film to PhotoLounge
