From the Artist: "The two scenes in this photo were shot on top of each other in different locations - the splash pad at City Hall and the little park on Chestnut Street. Both are spaces of escape from the summer heat. I enjoy capturing the blend of a lively, social scene with a place of solitude, usually in nature."
What We Liked: The use of a double exposure really heightens the feeling of summer. The mix of scenes makes the photo look hazy and somewhat overwhelming which reminds us of hot and humid weather. We also liked the inclusion of the person lying down because it highlights the intensity of summer heat even more.
