What We Liked: This week’s theme was based on an excerpt from Maggie Smith’s poem, Poem Beginning with a Line from It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. We felt this photo best encapsulated the feeling behind the words—of awe for nature and the seasons. From the low angle perspective, we see the leaves gleam, green but golden, a moment that one might catch while sitting thoughtfully in a park. The limbs of the tree weave the viewer’s eye through the sea of leaves. This image promotes the feeling of taking it slow and truly appreciating these little moments that make the season magical... Take a walk and breathe it in.
