From the Artist: "It was a hot mid-August day in Hudson, NY, and carrying this lovely lime-green parasol was a brilliant way to beat the heat while walking downtown."
What We Liked: We like the heavy emphasis added to this photo through its color palette. The vibrant green umbrella immediately grabs your attention while the complimentary pink bathes the rest of this street scene. The result is an image that has both abstract shapes and finer details, like the flowers on the subjects dress, or the pillows in the storefront.
