Reception Friday, June 26th from 7-9pm
130 S 17th St, Philadelphia PA
That Summer Feeling celebrates just that. Curated from photographs shared by families in our community, this show indulges in those moments that define summer; from the trips to the beach to the evenings in the backyard.
Captured on film between the 1930s and early 2000s, these photographs are imbued with the glow and warmth that summer naturally brings, lending them a sense of familiarity.
In bringing together photographs and the stories behind them, the exhibition highlights both the individuality of each family as well as the commonality in what we choose to remember.
We invite you to step into these fragments of a summer that once was, while considering the one about to unfold. As the season begins, That Summer Feeling reminds us to move with intention; to notice and to create the memories we hope to keep.
Join us for a reception on Friday, June 26th from 7-9pm at 130 S 17th St to enjoy an evening of wine, refreshments, music, and to meet the families behind the photographs. This event is free and open to the public!
