This week’s Member Moment features work by Drew Ferraro, who captures life's casual moments, with some magic in between. Scroll down to see his pictures and to read the interview!

PL: What got you interested in photography?
DF: I just really like cameras. They’re really cool and really fun.

PL: What type of camera do you shoot with?

PL: When taking pictures, what are some objects or elements or feelings within a scene that inspire you to take a photo?
DF: Quiet moments and subtle joys in life. Whether it’s my friends or just a moment that has some fun colors, I enjoy recording it and being able to recount that moment.

PL: Of the pictures you submitted, can you share an interesting story about one?
DF: The one picture with the two gentleman in the sunflowers is one of my favorite pictures. It’s my two best friends when we went to visit another friend of ours in Vermont. This picture just sticks out to me because it was a wonderful trip and I see these guys as family and I hold them very dear to me.

PL: What do you enjoy most about digital/film photography and what is challenging about it?
I think challenges in photography are often just made up by the photographer which I think is a beautiful thing. That’s why photographers have different styles and preferences.

PL: Do you have any goals or ideas of how you want to grow this collection of photographs?
