From the Artist: "I was lucky enough to visit Tokyo this past November and this is one of the photos from my trip. It is a vegetable offering at the Meiji Jingu shinto shrine. The piles of big beautiful ripe vegetables caught my eye instantly, and the shadows throughout made it even more interesting."
What We Liked: Sustainability can take many forms—from riding public transit, composting your leftover food scraps, or buying local produce to name a few. This photo reminds us of the latter, putting some big, beautiful vegetables front and center! We like how the exposure captures the gradient from the harsh sunlight to the darker shadows enveloping the produce.
