What We Liked: Here, it’s the camera that exhibits great shyness, reluctant to reveal too much. We see only an elbow, softly backlit by the sun. The venetian blinds cast dynamic shadows, which add great atmosphere to this moment that feels both intimate and mysterious. Combined with the choice to use black & white film, the room comes across as quiet and contemplative.
