From the Artist: "There's nothing I love more than bringing a film camera to special events. It makes for awesome images like this one, a photo I took at a going away party for a friend. I find it so fun to capture beautiful scenes like this, while staying in the moment. It's always a lovely surprise to see what gets developed."
What We Liked: This image stands out for its strong composition and elegant use of flash. We like how the flash brightens the foreground, highlighting the textures and colors. The background is then sparsely illuminated by sparklers that provide just enough light to catch glimpses of the party. Doing so gives the image some context while remaining abstract and visually interesting.
