Fifth Annual Student Show

Join us for an opening reception on Friday, September 18th from 7-9pm

The Fifth Annual Student Show celebrates the work of emerging photographers in honor of our founder's friend and mentor, Jerry Brown. Jerry was both a talented photographer and a giant in the photo lab industry who strongly believed in supporting young artists. 

This exhibition continues that legacy by showcasing the work of student photographers from universities across the country, helping to introduce and promote the next generation of emerging artists.

In Jerry's memory, the exhibition includes three substantial awards totaling $1,200 in PhotoLounge gift cards for lab services. Winners are judged by Peter Barberie, The Brodsky Curator of Photographs and Head of Prints, Drawings, and Photographs at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

An opening reception featuring tunes spun by DJ JON1, wine, and light refreshments will be held on September 18th from 7-9pm at PhotoLounge (130 S 17th St, Philly). This reception will also serve as the closing event of the city-wide 20/20 Photo Festival.
