Why We're Excited for NYC

Film Club

There’s still time to sign up for PhotoLounge’s NYC Field Trip!

PhotoLounge is heading to New York City on June 17th and you’re invited for a full-day photography adventure packed with gear, inspiration, creativity and community. Whether you're a film lover, digital shooter, or just want to grow your photo skills — this trip is for you. We have a coach bus booked and ready to go, included in your ticket.

Our first stop will be the BILD Expo  the ultimate interactive photo experience. Located in the Javits center, the expo has hands-on, immersive and educational activities, including lighting demos, portfolio reviews, new and used gear for sale, a disco photography room, macro photography demos, guest speakers and so much more.

After BILD, we will hop on the subway uptown to the Metropolitan Museum of Art to explore The New Art: American Photography, 1839 - 1910 exhibit. Study pieces of photography history, including works from Josiah Johnson Hawes, John Moran, Carleton Watkins, and Alice Austen in film and tintype. Seeing this with fellow photographers is sure to spark inspiration for the next stop on this trip.

After the Met, we will take a Photo Walk through possibly one of the most photographed places in the world: Central Park.

Your $190 ticket is all inclusive and is a great value. But we also included a Film Processing Super Saver worth $150 in film processing. See you there…
