What We Liked: The interesting outcome of this conceptual theme is that almost all of the submissions showcased ways of cooling down. This photo stood out to us for its composition as well as its use of vibrant colors. The curves of the pools guide the viewer’s eye to the central focus of the photo— the dolls lounging with their pet shark in a bright pink kiddie pool filled with colorful balls. The water ripples delicately in the pools and wet concrete indicates some fun was recently had. We enjoyed the whimsy of this moment and how it leaves us nostalgic for a childhood summer.
